“One of the things that is most important is that our parents feel that our students have a safe space to learn and that our staff feel that there is a safe place for them to teach. So we’re doing everything we can to make sure we have that.”
Mrs. Kathryn Procope, Head of School
Howard University Middle School of Mathematics & Science is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our scholars, staff and parents. We are taking every measure possible to ensure the safety and peace of mind for all who enter our building. Thank you WJLA-TV (ABC) Good Morning Washington for talking to us this morning & to our SafeGuard family for keeping our school safe!
Phase Two Guidance Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19): Guidance for Schools (Preschool-K-12 and Adult Education)
During Phase Two, Schools may reopen. This guidance will be in effect until we are able to better assess the impact of opening schools on the spread of COVID-19, so progression may happen independently of the District’s reopening phases. When schools reopen, the following measures should be implemented in order to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission among students and staff.
